Product Description
The HiVisBike Hivis bag attachment is another new idea and invention from HiVisBike. The Hivis bag is designed so that it can be attached to almost any bag in order to easily and quickly add High Visibility (hivis) to a cyclist , biker, skate boarder, scooter rider or other road user. It’s design with several connection points allows it to be quickly clipped on to the user’s existing bag, either a shoulder bag or a rucksack. The Hivis bag can be kept on the user’s bag in a discrete black non hivis state for when hivis is not needed, and adding an extra cooler compartment and extra storage space to the user. When hivis is needed the bag can simply be unclipped turned 180 degrees and re-clipped so that it’s hivis side is on display.

Additionally this model has a second way of changing from a discrete non hivis view to a hivis view and makes both sides of the bag hivis. When in non hivis view, this involves opening an extra compartment which unzips, folds down and exposes a hivis side.

Whilst hivis bag covers already exist, they work by wrapping all the way around a user’s existing bag meaning that the user cannot easily gain access to the contents of their bag but with HiVisBike’s new Hivis bag attachment users can still have easy access to their existing bag and also have additional storage space.

Made of slim light weight materials, the whole bag is lightweight weighing only 130 grams. The non hivis black material is strong and ripstop. The Hivis material is bright Yellow and has reflective bands for improved visibility in low light. The reflective bands will reflect vehicle lights to stand out in the dark. Bag’s dimensions: 26cm tall x 36cm wide / 10 inches tall x 14 inches wide. The bag has a quick and easy open Velcro flap at the top.

The HiVis bag is multipurpose, in addition to being a hivis attachment to a user’s existing bag the Hivis bag can be attached to various parts of a bicycle in many ways in a folded and unfolded state, it can be attached (folded) to a belt and act as a hivis cyclist's back pocket, it is also a hivis bicycle pannier bag using aluminium carabiners and a hivis cooler bag. Cooler bag insulating foam is used to keep it’s contents cool or warm. The insulating foam also adds shock absorbing ability to the bag. Should you wish to use the bag on it’s own, a black shoulder strap is also included.

The Hivis bag is designed to hold itself in a folded state, either horizontally or vertically with the use of Velcro on it’s back section.

There are two other versions of this Hivis bag offering the option to; 1 Include Aluminium Pannier Hooks within the unzip compartment at a higher price and 2 exclude the extra unzip compartment at a lower price.

What is supplied: One Hivis bag shown in the top right section of the first picture, various lengths of elasticated cord, adjustable Velcro straps, spring clip hooks, quick release straps/ties and carabiners. All that is required to allow the bag to be attached in the many ways possible.

Included is a specially designed piece which can be added to a rucksack and kept on the rucksack, allowing the bag to be quickly clipped on and off or turned around 180 degrees to change to a hivis state and back to a non hivis state.

In the pictures the hivisbag is shown attached to a rucksack and shoulder bag. Please note the rucksack and shoulder bag are not included with this purchase. The Yellow HiVisBike cover (also available in Orange) on the shoulder strap shown in two of the pictures (top left of second picture) is an extra accessory which is separately available to buy in the HiVisBike shop (model Y275x75) but is not included with the Hivis bag.

The hivis bag keeps looking like new as it can be washed – need to remove the cooling inner section before washing.
